Red, White & Blue Lessons & Carols

SaturdayPM version. Rite II version in files at page bottom.

This service, built on the model of Lessons and Carols, combines scripture and historical touchstones with music and prayers for our country. It was well received and boosted holiday weekend attendance both Saturday evening (alternative worship) and Sunday morning (more traditional) with parishioners requesting additional leaflets to share with friends. I would like to offer something similar the Sunday before July 4 with Red White & Blue potluck and games.

Glory to Father, Son, Holy Spirit! ~ SIGNed

"Glory to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and will be forever. Amen." This ancient praise "doxology" offers the Psalm to God. (We are always adjusting our ASL signs for clear meaning and vitality!)

Sermons, Worship & Workshop Materials

Rev Emily delights in interactive worship grounded in contemplative spirituality. Crafting worship nourishes her soul.

She relishes collaboration with variously creative others. Her preaching flows from the confluence of the congregation's shared interests and pastoral & theological needs, encountered in church life, mirrored in scripture & expressed in liturgy.
